Job Overview
Working within our Global Scripted Marketing team, you will be working across our scripted slate to support the team on the creation and delivery of campaigns to launch our series internationally. You will have the opportunity to be involved in series launches from early pitches and production, through to broadcast launches, working with producers, our sales team and local broadcasters. Being a passionate consumer of scripted content – across multiple genres – is key, as is having great cultural insights and awareness of global trends. You will be working with some of the most established and innovative creative partners in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the prompt creation and delivery of marketing materials for our long-running series to support our international sales team
- Lead on the servicing of marketing assets to our broadcast partners
- Proactively track and monitor broadcast launches and report back to the business and producers on the global roll-out success; distil learnings of each of our campaigns
- Financial tracking and processing responsibility: ensuring marketing budgets are recorded promptly, accurately and, in turn, raising the team’s purchase orders
- Ownership of the scripted marketing international launch date tracker, Phoenix (internal tracking software – training provided) as well as the e-marketing and Fremantle website schedules
- Support for the Head of Scripted Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager, Scripted on campaign roll-outs and ad hoc project work
- Work with the Sales Coordinators to support the monthly sales reporting and broadcaster tracking and communicate back to the team
- Work with the scripted and creative team on the timely update of creative and pitch materials once a series has launched
- Work with the Trade Marketing Executive to manage and update the Scripted portfolio on the Fremantle Screenings website
- Manage and champion the awards and festivals calendar, and entries alongside the global comms teams
- Create and manage the monthly competitor/environmental analysis report
Essential Skills and Experience
- An understanding of international television trade markets
- Experience of project management
- Experience of confidently and calmly working under pressure and multi-tasking
- Self-starter with the ability to be flexible in approach
- Lateral thinking and a keen collaborator in the workplace
- Excellent communicator, relationship builder and natural diplomat
- Culturally connected and passionate about media and the landscape we work within
- Experience of budget management
- Computer literacy – PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote, Word
- A keen eye for detail and passionate about delivering best-in-class materials both to our internal and external stakeholders
