Video Editor (12 Month FTC): News UK is looking for an enthusiastic and creative video editor to join our broadcast team at our London Bridge HQ. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing video content for our hourly news bulletins and programme output for our new Talk TV channel launching in 2022.

What we’re looking for from you:

They will display a keen eye for detail, working quickly and calmly sometimes under pressure in a newsroom environment. With a professional and approachable attitude they will work well on their own but also have great communication and excellent team working skills. We are an Avid based environment so exceptional knowledge of Media composer/production management workflows and iNews are a must. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools is also an advantage.

We are talkTV:

The latest innovation from News UK, talkTV will launch early in 2022 creating a major new channel, available to everyone across the UK and delivering a bold new voice in current affairs, debate and opinion. The channel will also deliver documentaries, entertainment and sports shows and proper hourly news bulletins. Piers Morgan, one of the most recognisable broadcasters in the world, is the first signing for talkTV and will deliver a primetime show which promises to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews. Drawing together world-class talent across News UK, talkTV will be broadcast from state-of-the-art studios at The News Building in London Bridge and available live or on-demand, on linear and connected TV and on any personal device.
